In this full-color piece for Jazz St. Louis, we included a “handwritten” note on the outer envelope from the CEO to build interest from the moment donors saw it in their mailboxes. The return envelope encouraged engagement with matching bright color and the clear call to action, “Keep music alive!”

Introducing new CEO
When Jazz St. Louis hired a new CEO in 2022, this was his first introduction to many of the organization’s supporters. It was an opportunity to highlight his musical achievements in other cities and build excitement about St. Louis’s spot as a destination for the arts. A smaller, more concise reply device encouraged donors to reply, “Yes, I care about jazz!”
